This ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) was inspired by the property’s original carriage barn.  The structure was limited to 1000 sq ft, but still offers a complete and comfortable living space, a true home in miniature.

Within its modest scale, the home accommodates an open living, dining, and kitchen area, a primary suite with bath and walk-in closet, a small pantry and laundry zone, and even a guest bedroom and full bath. Exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and abundant natural light create an airy, timeless atmosphere, a perfect blend of past and present.

The design preserves its rural roots while introducing modern comfort and function. Some of the original barn wood was carefully salvaged and repurposed in the finishes, adding authenticity and warmth.
